You can continue normal tooth brushing the night of your procedure. Please wait two or three days before brushing the implant surgical site as it may be tender.
Unfortunately, Medicare does not cover dental implant procedures.
It is okay to eat about an hour after your procedure. Be sure to avoid any hot foods and liquids for atleast 24 hours. Be sure to only easy soft non crunchy foods.
The overall procedure can take as long as a year from start to finish, but this time frame can also be much shorter. Consult your dental care professional to get an exact answer.
There is not much pain associated with getting dental implants. During the procedure, a local anestthetic will be applied to the area being worked on so you shouldn’t feel a thing.
